The Ember Flute:

Some of the flutes I make are tuned to a non traditional 432hz instead of the 440hz norm as most instruments are tuned.  These are my meditative flutes, called the Ember Flutes.  These are tuned to the 432hz mentioned above which is also known as Verdi tuning, a harmonic of 8hz, the low threshold of the alpha brainwave.  This has the ability to synchronize the hemispheres of the brain and falls within the resonance of the earths rotation. Many believe this frequency can have healing effects on the body and aids with meditation.

There is a subtle difference in tone versus the Native American style flutes, tuned to 440hz, that I make.  The Ember flute is designed to be played by itself or with other Ember flutes.
